When it comes to the performance of composite fire doors, you shouldn’t simply take the manufacturer’s words at face value. Accreditations are an essential mark of quality, independent of the manufacturer. Door-Stop doors hold an expansive array of certifications, including: Certificate No 050/058; FM 537614; SBD Licence Holder and Certificate No. CF5324. For you, this means complete peace of mind that the door you choose has undergone rigorous testing to ensure that it would stand up to the ferocity of a fire. It also means that the complete Door-Stop range has been tested for up to 30 minutes against fire and smoke (FD30s) by Warrington Exova and independently assessed by Certifire (CF5324).
Further accreditations that you should look out for include PAS023/PAS024, which demonstrates the level of security, as does Secure by Design (SBD).
Your composite fire door will be supplied with a unique identification label in place – this ensures complete traceability.
