Sales Manager – Domestic

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our team in Orpington, Kent. The ideal candidate will lead our residential and trade sales operations, driving new business, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service. This role is key to supporting company growth and maintaining our excellent reputation in the double-glazing and home improvement industry.
Duties
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Drive new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets aligned with company goals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to close.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching and support where needed.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across all 1st Scenic ranges.
Experience
  • Proven experience in a sales management or senior sales role (preferably in home improvement, glazing, or construction).
  • Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and reporting abilities.
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
